What kenseme.com collects, and why

This page covers the kenseme.com website: what we learn when you visit or send us a form, what we do with it, and how long we keep it. The Kenseme product at app.kenseme.com is covered by your customer agreement, not by this page.

When you browse

We don't set cookies, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site.

We use LeadLander to learn which companies visit. Its script runs in cookieless mode and sends LeadLander the pages you view and your IP address. LeadLander matches the address to the organization that owns the network, so we see company names, not the names of people.

Our host, Microsoft Azure, logs requests to the site as part of running it.

Some of our printed cards and one-pagers link here with a short source tag in the address, such as ?s=card. Your browser keeps that tag for the current tab only, so that if you ask for a demo, we know where you found us. It goes nowhere unless you send the form, and it's gone when you close the tab.

When you send us a form

The demo form asks for your company, name, email and an optional note. The partner application asks about your firm, how you'd work with us, and how to reach you. Along with what you type, each submission records:

  • the source tag above, if you came from printed material
  • your browser's user-agent string (the browser and operating system it reports)
  • the IP address the form came from, and the list of proxy addresses it passed through on the way
  • the organization that owns that network and the address's host name. We look these up in the public internet registries (through rdap.org) and in reverse DNS, so those services see the address too.

We use this to reply to you, to tell which company a request comes from, and to filter out spam. Submissions are stored in Microsoft Azure, and a copy is emailed to our team.

How long we keep it

After 90 days we delete the IP address, the proxy list and the host name from the stored submission. The network owner's name stays with it.

We keep the rest of the submission while we're in a business conversation with you. Ask us and we'll delete it.

Other sites shown here

Some blog posts embed videos from YouTube (its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player) or Vimeo. Those players load from those companies, and their privacy policies apply to them.

Our Docs page shows docs.kenseme.com, our product documentation, inside a frame.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named on this page, which do this work for us, or when the law requires it.
