Oracle adds prebuilt data agents and per-user agent security

Oracle announced a Private Agent Factory with prebuilt agents, per-user data security for agents, answer matching against existing reports and a new Autonomous AI Database MCP server.

On March 24, 2026, Oracle announced a set of agent features for Oracle AI Database.

What was announced

  1. Private Agent Factory with prebuilt agents, including one for analyzing structured data.
  2. Deep Data Security, which limits each agent to the data its end user is allowed to see.
  3. Trusted Answer Search, which answers a question by matching it to an existing, approved report instead of generating a fresh answer.
  4. Autonomous AI Database MCP Server, a new MCP server for Oracle's managed database.
  5. Autonomous AI Vector Database in limited availability. Oracle describes the other items as usable now.

Why it matters

Trusted Answer Search is an honest admission of a real problem. When the stakes are high, a company would rather point to an answer someone already checked than trust a new one. That works well for the questions you already have reports for.

The questions people bring to agents are often the ones without a report. To answer those reliably, the agent needs the same definitions the report authors used: what counts as a customer, an order, a return. If those definitions only exist inside report logic, every new question starts from scratch. Pulling them out into a shared, reviewed form is what lets new questions get trusted answers too.
