# Snowflake Intelligence, Cortex Agents and managed MCP are generally available

On November 4, 2025, Snowflake moved its agent products to general availability.

## What shipped

1. **Snowflake Intelligence, generally available.**
2. **Cortex Agents, generally available.**
3. **The Snowflake managed MCP server, generally available.**

## Why it matters

Within one year, Snowflake took agents from preview to production, along with the protocol to reach them from outside. Customers can now build on all three with a support commitment.

GA also moves the question from "does it work" to "who runs it". Production agents need owners, change control and a way to explain an answer when someone challenges it. The answer trail should lead back to a definition someone approved, not to a prompt someone tweaked.
